I remember how intimidating it was going to my first yoga class. While not feeling at all prepared, with almost no idea how to get into any yoga poses...I remember finding some great and FREE YouTube videos to help me feel more confident before going to my first yoga class. Find A Class

Attending your first yoga class can be intimidating. The idea of being the worst one in the yoga room in a group full of experienced yogi's gave me anxiety (and isn't a point of going to class de-stressing anyways)? The truth of the matter is, most classes will have a mix of people at all different levels and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I felt during my fist class. I also soon learned that everyone else is truly focused on themselves, and they are not analyzing your every pose. I've added some tips below if you click on the link, to find the yoga class right for you and your practice.

Stay Consistent

Yoga makes a lot of big promises, remind yourself that yoga is for every body and you are no different. The mental and physical changes from keeping up with a consistent yoga practice is truly magical. Take things slow, and don't burn yourself out to the point where you lose interest. Take what you need from the class; whether that be to release stress, lower anxiety, getting out of your hand, stretch or simply to switch up your workout.
